വില്യം ചാപ്മാൻ ഹെവിറ്റൺ ( 9 ജനുവരി 1806, Newcastle upon Tyne - 28 മെയ് 1878, Oatlands Park, Surrey) ഒരു ബ്രിട്ടീഷ് പ്രകൃതിസ്നേഹി ആയിരുന്നു.[1] വളരെ സമ്പന്നനായിരുന്ന അദ്ദേഹം വണ്ടുകൾ, ശലഭങ്ങൾ പക്ഷിക്കൂടുകൾ, മുട്ടകൾ എന്നിവ ശേഖരിക്കാൻ സമയം ചെലവഴിച്ചു. അദ്ദേഹം സ്വയം ശേഖരിച്ചതും മറ്റു സഞ്ചാരികളിൽനിന്നും വിലക്കുവാങ്ങിയതുമായ ശലഭങ്ങളുടെ ശേഖരം അക്കാലത്തെ ഏറ്റവും വലുതും പ്രധാനപ്പെട്ടതുമായിരുന്നു.[1][2] അദ്ദേഹം ഒരു മികച്ച ശാസ്ത്ര ചിത്രകാരനും ആയിരുന്നു.
